What is RafCycle?
This is an innovative recycling service created by UPM Raflatac that enables the transformation of label waste into new, valuable products. The aim of the project is to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and incineration plants and to support a circular economy. The program is addressed to companies interested in supporting the environment and using labels in packaging production. Participating in this project allows customers to implement responsible recycling practices, enabling them to achieve their sustainability goals. Using RafCycle, the Clinex brand implements its motto “We care for cleanliness responsibly ” in many areas, from the production process, selection of raw materials, to broadly understood education.
Visit to the company’s headquarters
During the visit, guests had the opportunity to visit the production plant, where the production processes of cleaning products and the implemented innovations were presented. Particular emphasis was placed on the environmental aspects of the company’s operations, which closely align with RafCycle’s assumptions. This visit was also an opportunity to award certificates to our factory for its commitment to environmental protection and active participation in the RafCycle program.
Thanks to the cooperation with UPM Raflatac and Reganta, the Clinex brand contributes to reducing the negative impact on the environment through effective management of label waste.

We asked about the benefits that RafCycle customers can get? Which companies is the project addressed to?

This has a direct impact on achieving further goals of the company’s sustainable development, which is an essential factor in a modern and dynamically developing company operating with respect for the environment. As part of the RafCycle service, label waste is collected by UPM Raflatac and transformed into new valuable raw materials, i.e. recycled, supporting the circular economy. The title of RafCycle service ambassador obliges us to spread knowledge about sustainable practices also by adapting the label production process and the technology used in such a way that the customer is fully satisfied with the quality of the label, while introducing its values that mitigate climate change,” answered by Natalia Szlaska , Marketing and Administration Director.
