High risk of contamination

Upholstered furniture is used in offices, hotels, restaurants and cafes. In each of these places, they are exposed to a high risk of contamination, which is caused by the intensity of their use as well as the type of use. They often come into contact with various types of substances that leave unsightly marks. These include: ink from pens, cold and hot drinks, food remains, as well as dirt that we transfer to our clothes.

Frequent use of chairs or sofas also causes the color of the fabric to fade. As a result of the impact of sunlight entering the building, the material fades and loses its intensity. Discoloration on upholstered furniture is difficult to remove over time, so regular furniture care is recommended. Any dirt or discoloration should be removed immediately with a suitable preparation. Do not use products based on alkaline ingredients. It is also recommended to place the furniture in places where it is not exposed to intense sunlight. We avoid proximity to the radiator and fireplace.

Different fabrics – different stains

Upholstered furniture is a broad concept. There are models available on the market with various types of upholstery. They are divided mainly according to the type of material:

When cleaning fabric upholstery, it is worth using a vacuum cleaner with a narrow tip to remove dirt from the nooks and crannies. We clean the upholstery itself using special preparations. When planning to purchase such furniture, it is worth paying attention to whether it is covered with a fabric that is impermeable to moisture and major dirt. It is also worth paying attention to the durability of fabrics – when planning to place furniture in places with high customer traffic, when sofas or armchairs will be used every day, the fabric should be resistant to abrasion and moisture.

When cleaning furniture with leather upholstery, it is worth remembering to vacuum it regularly – at least once a week. For washing, it is worth using professional leather cleaning agents, which will guarantee the effect of clean and shiny furniture.

Cleaning with active foam

When cleaning upholstery, especially difficult-to-remove dirt, active foam works best. It is a combination of compounds, carefully selected and in the right proportions, to maintain a neutral pH and thoroughly clean the surface. The foam-forming agent left on the dirty surface penetrates the fibers of the material, dissolving the dirt.

It is worth using Clinex Textile Foam upholstery cleaning agent. This is a foam preparation intended for cleaning upholstery. It not only removes dirt, but also delays its deposition. At the same time, it refreshes the color, thanks to which its intensity is maintained for longer. Clinex Textile Foam affects the fibers in two directions – it cleans and cares for them.

The preparation should be shaken before use. Then spray the cleaned surface evenly from a distance of approx. 20 cm. The agent in the form of active foam should be left for approx. 1 minute. The foam penetrates the fibers and removes dirt. Clean the upholstery with a sponge or soft brush, and then wipe the surface with a cloth moistened with water.

Clinex Textile Foam is safe for cleaned surfaces. It does not contain bleaching or brightening substances, so it does not damage the fibers and effectively nourishes and protects them. An additional advantage of the preparation is its fresh scent.
